those days last year when i would watch tv just to see the rockstar trailer ^_^
now it’s the wait for barfee and yeh jawani hai deewani!!
rockstar started 2 hours before the start time!
what the hell?? i missed out on half an hour of it -.-
the Filmfare Awards were cute and funny, but i liked last year’s one better :L this contains spoilers!
- Shahrukh and Ranbir’s entry was awesome, they way they flew down and bumped into each other!
- Genelia and ritesh looked adorable in their performance!! they truly are an adorable couple!
- Tum uloo ki phatti ho xD LOL at Carlos
- SRK needs to stop making jokes about Rockstar, like as in make some jokes but too much isnt necessary, there was too much repetition (i have nothing against SRK though)
- Ranbir’s adorable, cute sa chehra when SRK mentions Deepika’s name
they need to get together again though - Deepika looked so pretty in her performance!!! Her hair and her makeup was WOW!!! She’s looked so cute when she was dancing to subah hone na de and omg, when she winked!
- MANGORITA!!!!!! the song is awesome and hilarious, i want to download that song xD
- Best playback male went to Mohit for Jo bhi main!!! OH MY GOD!!!
I screamed - Best lyricist - Irshad Kamil for nadaan parindey
- Shahrukh and Ranbir’s poetry, hahaha
- 2500th black lady went to AR Rahman for the best music director (rockstar)
- Priyanka chopra dance was so good! Loved her performance!
- Best supporting actor male - farhan!!!!! awwww, he totally deserves it!!
- Leather Laxmi and Chiffon Chameli pole dancing with a whip and all and touching each other on the butt, hahahahaha xD
- Ranbir dancing along with MADHURI to her steps was hilarious! he was like enjoying himself as a girl a bit too much xD
- omg, when Rekha, Vidya, Kareena and Karishma were up on stage to dance to Chammak Challo, Ranbir was dancing and enjoying himself on the side
- Best actor male critics - Ranbir!!!!
- Best actor female critic - Priyanka for Saath Khoon Maaf
(finally someone besides Vidya) - Best dialogue - Farhan!!! YAY!!!
- RK kissing the girl (pretending), i thought it was awkward xD
- the Zor ka jatka SRK and Ranbir got when they found out rakhi was actually shakti kapoor xD
- What people actually mean to say in their acceptance speech was hilarious to watch!!!!
- shahrukh getting smacked/hit by the kids during his performance was cute!
- Best director - Zoya Akhtar, WOOHOOO!
- Best film - ZNMD, totally deserves it!
- Best actor male - Ranbir kapoor!!!! He even got up on the seat to hug Imtiaz!!! and he was totally shocked and had no idea on what to say for his acceptance speech, that was adorable!
The 18th Annual Colour screen Awards 2012, were vulgar, cheesy and disappointing. I don’t know about everyone else, but I personally cannot watch anything Bollywood with my family anymore. Watching Bollywood Awards shows has been a tradition my mom, and i do every year. Unfortunately this year, even those were made unwatchable. How Shahid Kapoor got away with saying the F@%# word countless times on a family channel is beyond me. More annoying than this was when Shahrukh and Madhuri came on stage and started talking about hard-on’s. Shahrukh Khan went over board with his cheap sexual jokes, they were plain offensive. I’m sure that he’s an actor and say’s whatever the screen writers tell him to, but he’s one of the biggest superstar’s of India, he should know better than to just follow any script blindly. When he kissed Katrina Kaif on stage, Kaif looked absolutely repulsed. The jokes were all on sex, the dirty picture, or just general cheap jokes.
The Dance Performances:
Salman Khan introduced the show with his bodyguard moves, that man cannot dance, and he was only there for a few seconds and then disappeared for the rest of the show.
Katrina Kaif did a unique performance on Shiela ki jawani in a Sari! Anushka Sharma danced her way through Dum Dum, and thug le, all i could notice about Anushka were her long long legs. Shahid Kapoor showed off his bhangra routine from Mausam, but the highlights of the awards, was Priyanka Chopra’s train performance. Her song selection was brilliant! Katrina Kaif ended the show as Chikni Chameli and it truly was energetic. The choreography was repetitive, none of the performances had anything original.

Miss: Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor.
Overall most awards were well deserved, watch these only for the dance performances, forward through all the vulgar cheap jokes and acts.
